Innovation with LIMEX
Conservation of resources at high risk of depletion
LIMEX is made of calcium carbonate as the main ingredient. Calcium carbonate is produced from limestone, which is abundant in reserves around the world, and CO2 emitted into the atmosphere, which leads to the conservation of resources with a high risk of depletion, such as oil and forests.
Reduction of GHG emissions
Compared to petroleum-derived plastics, CO2 and other emissions can be reduced by more than 25% over the entire product life cycle, depending on the product.
Inexpensive × Low price volatility
Limestone is abundant in reserves around the world, so its price is lower than that of petroleum-derived plastics. In addition, due to the excellent supply stability, there are few price fluctuations, making it possible to procure at a stable price.
